Bank of Hawaii robbery suspect in custody
Police caught on Tuesday a 48-year-old man suspected of robbing the Waianae branch of Bank of Hawaii on Friday.
Police said he demanded money from the teller at about 2:53 pm.
On Tuesday he was identified and a crime reduction unit arrested him at 3:20 p.m. on suspicion of first-degree robbery and a drug offense.
The FBI adopted the case today and the suspect was transferred to the FBI.
