9th Avenue from Waialae to Harding avenues closed to traffic due to water main break
Honolulu Board of Water Supply crews continue repairs to a 6-inch water main break in Kaimuki this afternoon.
Earlier today, 9th Avenue was closed between Waialae and Harding as BWS responded to the break. The road was reopened, however, after it was determined repairs could be made without having to detour traffic around the break.
Approximately 24 residential customers and an apartment building are without water service at this time.
Motorists are urged to avoid the area and use alternate routes.
