Woman allegedly slashes sister’s face with kitchen knife, Honolulu police say
Honolulu police arrested a 34-year-old woman after she allegedly slashed her sister’s face with a kitchen knife on Kinau Street early today.
The suspect and victim, 32, were involved in an argument shortly before 2:4o a.m. Police said the argument escalated and the suspect slashed her sister’s face with the knife.
She sustained “substantial bodily” injury in the assault and was taken to a hospital where she received stitches, police said.
The victim is in stable condition.
Police arrested the suspect on suspicion of second-degree assault.
