Honolulu police seized more than 20 gambling machines during a raid at an illegal game room in Waianae on Thursday.

Officers of the Narcotics/Vice Division executed a search warrant at the game room with the assistance of the Specialized Services Division and District 8 Crime Reduction Unit during the afternoon hours.

Officers seized 24 gambling machines and an undisclosed amount of cash.

Police arrested a 35-year-old man shortly after 2 p.m. on suspicion of promoting gambling and possession of gambling devices.
