Oregon man arrested on Maui for violating COVID-19 quarantine

A 34-year-old Oregon man was arrested in Maui on Monday after violating his COVID-19 quarantine.

Maui police were investigating a separate incident when they learned the man, who flew into Maui from Seattle on Thursday, left his listed residence while he was supposed to be in quarantine. He was supposed to be quarantined until Dec. 23.

He was taken into custody, and his bail was set to $2,000.
