Honolulu police investigating robbery at Nuuanu 7-Eleven store

Honolulu police are investigating an armed robbery at a convenience store in Nuuanu.

The robbery occurred at 7-Eleven at 1755 Nuuanu Avenue at about 12:15 a.m. Thursday.

Police said a male suspect clad in a motorcycle helmet brandished a handgun and took bentos and sandwiches from the convenience store. He then fled on a moped.

No injuries were reported.

Police said there are no arrests at this time.
