Woman seriously hurt after being bitten by shark in Haleiwa
A woman is in serious condition after she suffered an “apparent shark bite” in Haleiwa this afternoon, authorities said.
According to a Honolulu Emergency Medical Services report, paramedics responded to the incident at around 2 p.m. and provided “life saving treatment” to the 25-year-old woman before taking her to a hospital.
