Hall hired as UH volleyball assistant

Former Pacific player and assistant coach Jeff Hall was hired yesterday as an assistant for the Hawaii men’s volleyball team.

"Jeff brings an impressive resume of recruiting at both the club and collegiate level," Warriors coach Charlie Wade said. "He has experience coaching in the MPSF at two different schools, so he’s familiar with the teams in the league and understands what’s required to be successful."

Hall replaces Shelton Tang, who resigned July 1. Tang is remaining on staff as video coordinator.

Hall played for UOP in 1993 and ’94, and was an assistant for the Tigers for the past three seasons. He also was an assistant coach for the UC San Diego men’s and women’s teams from 2004 to 2007.
