Hiker airlifted off Koko Crater trail
A man in his 50s was airlifted off the Koko Crater trail Saturday morning after he apparently fainted while trying to hike the notoriously steep path.
Honolulu Fire Department rescue personnel transferred the man to Emergency Medical Services, which took him to a local hospital in stable condition.
The incident occurred around 9:30 a.m.
