Teen spots alleged moped thief in Sunset Beach
Police said a teenaged girl spotted a 45-year-old man Tuesday evening riding a stolen moped in the Sunset Beach parking lot.
The girl observed the alleged thief at 4:42 p.m., and police arrested him just after 5 p.m. on suspicion of driving a stolen vehicle, according to police documents. He was later released from police custody pending an investigation.
