Man arrested on suspicion of attempted murder in Kailua

Police arrested a 42-year-old man Monday night for allegedly trying to kill a 25-year-old man in Kailua earlier Monday.
Police said victim told police the suspect tried to harm him 4:40 a.m. Monday using a dangerous instrument. Police would not provide further details.
The older man was arrested on suspicion of second-degree attempted murder and auto theft.
