Hawaiian will fly Raiders, Seahawks to games

Hawaiian Airlines is playing football again this season.

The carrier said Friday it will provide charter flights to National Football League road games for the Oakland Raiders and Seattle Seahawks. It will be the 12th straight season that Hawaiian has flown the Raiders and the second year in a row and third time in the past four years for the Seahawks.

Hawaiian will fly the Raiders to road games at Denver; Buffalo, N.Y.; San Diego; Minneapolis; Miami; Green Bay, Wis.; and Kansas City, Mo. The Raiders are using a different carrier for its game in Houston.

Seattle road games are in Denver, San Francisco, New York, Cleveland, Dallas, St. Louis, Chicago and Phoenix.

Bank of Hawaii stock upgraded to ‘buy’

Bank of Hawaii Corp.’s stock was raised to “buy” from “hold” Friday by Sandler O’Neill analyst Aaron Deer. The 12-month target price is $45 per share.

The company’s stock closed off 75 cents Friday at $38.08.

The Plaza Club has named Dan Bower as its new general manager. He joined the organization as an executive chef in October 2009 and has more than 20 years of experience as an executive chef in private clubs and resorts as well as experience as a culinary educator.

RevoluSun has hired Marcelo Jaramillo as a Hawaiibased customer care director. He previously worked for San Francisco-based SunRun, the nation’s largest residential solar electricity provider.

State Farm Insurance has named John Huey as an agent. His office is in the James Campbell Building in Kapolei. Huey started with State Farm as a claim representative in 1993 and later became an agency field specialist as well as an agency field executive in Vermont.

The Hawaii Tourism Ambassador program has chosen Patrick Wong of World Express PTE Ltd. as its ambassador for Singapore. He will work with the association and its members to enhance Hawaii as “premium” destination to members of the Singapore travel industry.
