Stanley leads U.S. to volleyball win
Hawaii’s Clay Stanley put down a team-high 16 kills to help the U.S. men’s national volleyball team outlast host Egypt in an FIVB World League match yesterday in Cairo.
Stanley added an ace as the Americans won, 20-25, 31-29, 25-17, 21-25, 15-12 to improve to 6-3 in pool play.
Former Warrior Alfee Reft, a reserve libero, did not play yesterday.
