Monahan eliminated in semifinals

Hawaii’s Joy Monahan finished equal third yesterday in the Roxy ASP Women’s World Longboard Championships at Biarritz, France.

Eventual champion Cori Schumacher eliminated Monahan, a former world longboard champion, in the semifinals, 17.25 to 16.00.

Schumacher went on to beat Kaitlin Maguire in the final, 13.15 to 8.10.
