Call the Coach resumes Aug. 31
KKEA 1420-AM’s weekly Call the Coach show with Hawaii football coach Greg McMackin will be held starting Aug. 31 at the Kani Ka Pila Grille at the Outrigger Reef on the Beach.
The longtime radio voice of the team, Bobby Curran, will host the show. It starts at 6:30 p.m. every week.
Golden Bear overseeing Kauai course
Legendary PGA golfer Jack Nicklaus will review the renovation project at the Kauai Lagoons Golf Course on Friday.
Nicklaus, the original designer of the course, will inspect the work done on the Kiele Course back nine. That includes three new holes and six others overhauled.
