Waianae High School closed because of water main break
An on-campus water main break closed Waianae High School this morning shortly after school began.
Students were released at 9:15 a.m. because the school had no water service, a school official said. The break was isolated to the Leeward Oahu school, a Board of Water spokeswoman said.
There was no immediate word how long the school would be without water or when classes would resume.
