Hawaii up to No. 5 in volleyball poll
The Hawaii women’s volleyball team moved back to No. 5 in the AVCA Coaches Top 25 today. The Rainbow Wahine (14-1) were ranked No. 6 last week.
Stanford (13-0) was the unanimous No. 1, receiving all 60 first-place votes. Florida (12-1) stayed at No. 2, Nebraska (14-1) No. 3 and Penn State (13-2) No. 4.
Also moving up a spot from last week were No. 6 Illinois (12-2) and No. 7 California. Former No. 5 USC (13-1) dropped to eighth following a loss to Washington. The Huskies (14-1) traded places with Iowa State (10-3), with UW at No. 9 and ISU at No. 10.
