Man held in alleged robbery of teen in Laie
A 20-year-old man was arrested late last night after he allegedly assaulted a 17-year-old boy along Kamehameha Highway in Laie for no apparent reason and robbed him.
The suspect fled on foot after the 9:20 p.m. incident but was found nearby on Naupaka Street and arrested, police said. The suspect, who has no permanent address, was also arrested on a contempt charge.
