Chin wins in Hong Kong

Punahou sixth-grader Andrew Chin won the boys 11-12 division at the 2010 Mizuno Winter Championship in Hong Kong last week. Chin shot rounds of 75 and 71 at The Jockey Club Kau Sai Chau South Course to win by five shots. Chin was second in his age group the week before at the U.S. Kids Golf Kaanapali Hawaiian Classic on Maui.

School back in session

Balance Point Golf Schools return to Ko Olina Golf Club Jan. 15 and will offer golf instruction programs through April 23. Half-day, one-day and multi-day golf schools are available, covering fundamentals, mental game, putting and short game. Private classes are included.
