HPD offers more career informational meetings
The Honolulu Police Department is offering two career informational sessions this week due to popular demand.
They will provide information about career opportunities in the police force.
The sessions, which will be held at the police training academy, are by reservation only.
They will be held today, 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Correction: The sessions will be about becoming a police officer and not for other openings in the department. An earlier version of this story said the sessions would include information on job openings for dispatchers, clerk typists, fleet mechanics, radio technicians and service station attendants, as well as jobs in the Scientific Investigation Section and Information Technology Support.
