About 7,000 gallons of partially treated, but not completely disinfected sewage was dumped in Lake Wilson Wednesday night because of a power outage, the state Health Department said.

Signs are posted advising people to stay out of the reservoir for several days.

Oahu and Kauai are still under a brown water advisory following heavy rains earlier in the week. If coastal waters are turbid and brown, stay out, the health department said.
