Fall into River Street Canal leaves man in critical condition
A 45-year-old man was taken to an area hospital in critical condition Sunday afternoon after he apparently fell into the River Street Canal.
According to an Emergency Medical Services report, the man apparently fell into the canal from street level. It was not immediately known if his condition was due to trauma or medical causes.
The incident occurred just before 4 p.m.
