  • Blockbuster Video's Kahala location on Waialae Ave. began a closing sale on Monday.

Dish Network Corp. is closing a Blockbuster video outlet in Kahala and is liquidating all its merchandise starting today. Friday was the last day for rentals, a store employee said, adding that the store will close in mid-August. There are five workers at the location, she said. The long-time video rental chain will have just two remaining outlets in Ewa Beach and Kihei on Maui.
