A Board of Water Supply crew has completed repairs to an 8-inch water main break near Manoa Valley District Park.   

About 30 customers were without water service for around four hours until the main break was repaired around 9:30 p.m.

Road repairs to the break, at 3113 Woodlawn Drive, were completed at 1:30 this morning, and Woodlawn Drive in both directions between Kahaloa Drive and Lower Road was reopened.

The affected water main was originally installed in 1935 and is scheduled to be replaced as part of the BWS’s ongoing Woodlawn Drive 8-inch Main Water System Improvement Project.
