Keahole Street reopened after suspicious package removed

Police have closed the mauka-bound lanes of Keahole Street in Hawaii Kai from Keahole Place to Kalanianaole Highway due to a report of a suspicious package.

The Honolulu Police Department has reopened Keahole Street in Hawaii Kai after removing a suspicious package from the area, according to a news release.

The police closed the mauka-bound lanes of Keahole Street from Keahole Place to Kalanianaole Highway earlier this afternoon after the package was initially reported.  

No other details were immediately available.
