Weekend H-1 west lane closures postponed

Weekend lane closures on the H-1 freeway westbound through Pearl City will be postponed until Jan. 10.

The Hawaii Department of Transportation said this weekend’s lane closures westbpimd between the Pearl City/Waimalu Off-Ramp (Exit 10) and the Waipahu Off-Ramp (Exit 8B), previously scheduled for 11 p.m. Saturday, through 4:30 a.m. Monday, will be delayed.. 

Weekend roadwork will resume at 11 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 10, through 4:30 a.m. Monday, Jan. 12, when three right lanes will be closed starting at 11 p.m. on Saturday night through 6 a.m. Sunday morning.

The lane closure will then be reduced to two right lanes from 6 a.m. on Sunday through 4:30 a.m. on Monday during the concrete curing process.
