Traffic backed up on the H-1 freeway in the Ewa direction after a gravel spill closed the two center lanes Thursday morning.
Police closed two lanes on the H-1 freeway in the Ewa direction as crews clean up spilled gravel.
The lanes were closed from the Aiea Heights overpass to Kaamilo overpass until the spilled gravel was removed.
Police dispatch reported the closure at about 9 a.m. and said the freeway reopened by about 10:30 a.m.
