Kailua/Kapolei football game moved to Monday

The high school football game between No. 8 Kapolei and No. 10 Kailua that was suspended in the first quarter on Saturday will resume on Monday at 6 p.m. at Kailua according to OIA football coordinator Harold Tanaka.

Because the teams will be playing on a Monday, Kailua’s scheduled game at Aiea next Friday has been moved to Saturday at 6:30 p.m. Kapolei’s game at No. 1 Mililani remains on Saturday at 6:30 p.m.

Radford’s game against Kalani that was scheduled for next Saturday at Aiea has been moved to Friday at 7:30 p.m.

The other postponed game on Friday will also be resumed Monday at 6 p.m. Waialua was leading host Pearl City 14-12 when the game was stopped with 10:49 remaining in the fourth quarter.
