Drive safe, people. Don’t drink and drive, wear your seat belts, use your turn signals, get off your cellphones, and most important (to me, at least)is, DON’T SPEED. Leave enough space between you and the vehicle in front of you enough space for you to brake and slow down safely. NO NEED RUSH. Have a safe and HAPPY HOLIDAYS…

Can’t tell you how many times I have taken this route all the way to the Culture Center and been passed by lolo drivers in way too much of a hurry. Later on I catch up with them, they are not ahead. Worst part is when their willful unsafe driving involves innocent people.

Fortunately what goes around comes around. Attorney for the injured, innocent people will go after the errant drive to cover all accident expenses, pain and suffering. Legal system will also hammer them hard.

Can’t remember the last time I drove that stretch of highway. Many moons ago.

So — a little girl’s life is endangered and her Christmas is ruined because a so-called “adult” couldn’t resist the urge to pass on a narrow two-lane highway ? People — slow down — and remember that YOU are not the center of the universe ! I hope everyone pulls through OK, but this makes me sad AND mad!

Passing rain showers is just enough to wet the roads, so that you will be hydroplaning over a thin layer of water. Time to slow down, and make sure that yours tires have enough thread to dissipate the water for a better grip.

People. The posted speed limit signs are not just for decoration. It is for your safety.

Sometimes Kualoa Ranch will open a side gate to allow drivers bypass an accident.

Trying to save a couple of seconds by speeding might land you in the hospital.
