Lusitana Street reopened after pesticide odor prompts investigation
A portion of Lusitana Street has been reopened, police said.
Lusitana Street was closed in the southbound direction from Puowaina Street to School Street to investigate a possible gas leak.
Police announced the closure at about 8 a.m. and reopened the road about a half-hour later.
A spokesman from Hawaii Gas said the odor was from a pesticide, not a gas leak.
