Carolina and New England are the early favorites at Nevada sportsbooks to win the 2017 Super Bowl, followed by the Seahawks, Packers and Steelers.

The Panthers were listed today at 7-1 and the Patriots 8-1 at the William Hill Race & Sports Book, while Pregame.com set the line for New England at 9-1 and Carolina 10-1.

The Denver Broncos, who upset 5.5-point favorite Carolina 24-10 in Super Bowl 50 on Sunday, are listed at 15-1 at William Hill and 18-1 at Pregame.com.

“That’s about right,” said Jay Kornegay, the odds maker at the Westgate Las Vegas Superbook, where he has Denver’s odds of repeating at 14-1.

“It’s very difficult to go back-to-back,” Kornegay said about the team Peyton Manning led to the title but who is considering retiring before next season. “They’ll be playing with a new quarterback and they still have some other offensive questions they have to address.”

His book has New England, Seattle and Pittsburgh listed as co-favorites at 8-1, followed by the Panthers, Green Bay Packers and Arizona Cardinals all at 10-1.

“At some point late in the season a lot of folks thought the Steelers were the best team in the NFL, but a couple of injuries changed things,” Kornegay said.

Pregame.com has Seattle at 11-1, Green Bay and Pittsburgh at 12-1, and Arizona, Cincinnati and Indianapolis all 15-1.

William Hill lists the Seahawks, Packers, Steelers and Cardinals at 10-1, followed by the Bengals and Kansas City Chiefs at 15-1 along with the Broncos.
