Kapiolani Boulevard reopened after tree cleared from road

    Crews worked on a tree in the McCully area this afternoon. All ewa-bound lanes of Kapiolani Boulevard are closed at Paani Street because of a fallen tree.

Kapiolani Boulevard reopened in the Ewa-bound direction in the McCully area after crews cleared a downed tree.

Traffic was re-routed to Paani Street.

Police reported the closure at about 1:20 p.m. and the road reopened by about 2 p.m.

Traffic cameras showed crews working in the area.
