Man charged with murder in fatal shooting at gas station
ANCHORAGE, Alaska » A 23-year-old man has been charged with a first-degree murder in a shooting death Wednesday night at an Anchorage gas station.
Anchorage police say Andrew Robertson-Goughnour is also charged with second-degree murder in the death of 19-year-old Brandon Merritt near gas pumps at a Holiday station on Abbott Road about a block from the Seward Highway.
Police took a call on the shooting just before 9 p.m.
Witnesses told investigators Merritt was a passenger in a sedan that started to leave and he exchanged words with Goughnour, who was pumping gas.
Police say Merritt got out of the car, and as he was approaching Goughnour, Goughnour pulled out a gun and shot him.
Goughnour stayed at the station until police arrived and was taken into custody for questioning.

So this suspect, Andrew Robertson-Goughnour, is being charged with first and second degree murder both at the same time for killing one victim? Is this correct?
