Man, 71, dies in apparent drowning off West Oahu beach
A 71-year-old man died Thursday after paramedics transported the near-drowning victim from a beach in West Oahu, according to an Emergency Medical Services report.
Responding to the scene of the near-drowning, near 92-303 Farrington Highway, paramedics treated a the man shortly before 1:30 p.m. They took the man to a hospital where he later died.
