Man tied up, robbed by two other men invited to hotel room
Police were looking for two men who bound, beat up, and robbed a 49-year-old man who invited the suspects up to his Waikiki hotel room, police said.
The incident took place over several hours, from about 10:20 p.m. Sunday to about 3:25 a.m. Monday, police said.
Police said the victim met the two suspects outside his hotel and invited them up to his room where the men assaulted him, tied him up, and took his belongings before fleeing.
Police opened a kidnapping and second-degree robbery investigation.

scary area
Tied him up to rob him, or was it sexual bondage?
Maybe he just forgot “the safe word” ?
LMAO Yes, either he forgot to pay the dope dealers or he forgot how to pronounce the safe word after a few hits of puff-puff.

lol
Now, why would a 49 year old man invite 2 men to his hotel room?
He was drunk, very overweight, and wanted help back to his room.
Druggies will help anyone to rob them. Looks like they helped themselves to everything he had.
And perhaps partied themselves with all the hotel booze in the room.
Another example of wiliki not reading the article and then making up stuff.
Okay, so I’m not alone in this line of thinking.
Now days you just don’t invite any joe blow from off the streets. He’s lucky to be alive.
Good Point.
Heed this advice Allie !!!!
I think Allie is a smart and wary guy (lots of areas scare him) but nice advice to give.
huh? I would not invite any person to my room. That seems obvious. Waikiki is often a wasteland at night. beware.
I dont’t think any male or female would be interested in assaulting him. Makes too little money from sweeping the pizza joints floor and paying tuition for the past 15 years at UH.
I’d probably have chosen a different name for the total stranger “from off the streets”.
hahahah..This story just reeks of stupid.
Dont tell me…tourist here having a nice time, decides to get friendly with some locals. Locals rob him blind and run. Whatch, thats how it will turn out. Great for Hawaii tourism.
I didn’t see the “local” word. Huh.
Probably “average” locals.
He forgot the safe word!! Classic
Don’t do it again.
Clearly a victim of micro aggression in his own safe space.
yikes!
Sad. It used to be safe being open and (too?) friendly with strangers.
A little common sense can go a long way.
