Man with dementia last seen in Waikiki returned home

Honolulu police are thanking the public for their assistance in finding a missing 79-year-old man from central Honolulu, who recently relocated to Oahu from Washington state.
Isao Iwashita was located at 7 p.m. Thursday when he returned safely to his home on his own.
He was last seen at 10:45 a.m. Wednesday in the Waikiki Shopping Plaza area and suffers from dementia, police said.
