Child critical after being run over by vehicle
A 12-month-old child is in critical condition after being run over by a vehicle on Auld Lane in Honolulu today.
Emergency Medical Services personnel said the boy was behind the vehicle when the incident occurred. Advance life support measures were administered as he was transported to a hospital.
The incident occurred in the 1500 block of Auld Lane at about 4:45 p.m.

Why was a 12-month old child crawling around in the roadway or driveway? Who was supposed to be watching the child?

Dunno, raised my children and they NEVER crawled around the driveway or near parked cars. Parents need to be more diligent at supervising their children.
