Surprise your valentine with a barbershop serenade

The Sounds of Aloha Chorus men’s a cappella group is once again offering to serenade your sweetheart for Valentine’s Day.

For $60, a barbershop quartet will surprise the object of your affection at home, work, a restaurant or other location and perform three love songs and deliver a silk rose and card. For $75, you can request a specific time or evening delivery in Waikiki.

The Singing Valentines do not take requests, but two of their most popular songs are “Let Me Call You Sweetheart,” “Heart of My Heart” and Elvis’ “Love Me Tender,” according to spokesman Hank Drayton.

Reservations are being taken for 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Feb. 13 and 14. Call 262-SONG (7664) or visit HawaiiSingingValentines.com.
