Local chefs and potters teamed up to support food security and end hunger during the annual Empty Bowl Hawaii fundraiser at the Dole Cannery Pomaikai Ballrooms on March 31. Ticket purchases included a bowl of soup from a lineup of gourmet choices by local chefs, bread and a bowl to take home. Thousands of bowls were contributed by local potters, high school students and the community.
