Man arrested for allegedly assaulting officer at Makiki park
Police arrested a 21-year-old man Tuesday morning after he allegedly assaulted a 29-year-old male police officer at a Makiki park.
Police said the uniformed officer responded to a report of men drinking at a public park at 11:05 a.m. today.
One of the men allegedly assaulted the officer.
The officer then arrested him on suspicion of first-degree assault of a law enforcement officer.
