Police arrested a 34-year-old man after he allegedly assaulted a 27-year-old woman in Kalihi.
On Friday, police said the suspect got into an argument with the victim. Police responded and the suspect was issued a warning citation.
The following afternoon, the 34-year-old man physically abused the victim while they were involved in another argument at their home in the presence of their child, police said.
Police arrested the suspect Sunday at an Ahonui Street residence on suspicion of abuse of a family or household member in the presence of a child under the age of 14.
