A single-vehicle crash in Leeward Oahu caused a power outage to about 250 customers.

Shannon Tangonan, spokeswoman for the Hawaiian Electric Co., said a vehicle crashed into a utility pole on St. John’s Road at about 4 a.m. today, resulting in a power outage to customers in Maili and Nanakuli.

The driver’s condition is unavailable at this time.

Tangonan said crews will replace the damaged pole today. It’s unclear at this time when power will be restored to affected customers.
