Punahou alumna Ilima-Lei Macfarlane will fight for the first female world flyweight title in Bellator history.

The 27-year-old undefeated mixed martial arts fighter will face Emily Ducote (6-2) for the inaugural 125-pound women’s title belt on Nov. 3 at Bellator 186.

The fight will take place on the campus of Penn State University at Bryce Jordan Center in State College, Penn.

Ducote is one of only two fighters to go the distance against Macfarlane (6-0), losing a unanimous decision in December 2016.

Macfarlane is 5-0 in Bellator with three submission wins, including a first-round armbar victory over Jessica Middleton in April.

Ducote is 4-1 in Bellator with three wins by submission.

The fight will be shown tape delayed in Hawaii on the Spike channel.
