Wahine basketball team wins fourth straight
A back-and-forth battle on Day 1 of the Rainbow Wahine Showdown went the way of Hawaii, which posted its fourth straight victory, 70-63 over Marist tonight at the Stan Sheriff Center.
Marist (1-3) led by six in the fourth quarter but went cold in crunch time, as UH (4-1) went on a 12-0 run across nearly five minutes.

Julissa Tago (13 points) hit two free throws with 22.1 seconds left for a 68-63 lead. The Foxes missed a 3 and Woodfolk made two more at the stripe.
UH rallied from an eight-point first-quarter deficit to lead by a point at halftime, but fell behind by one after three periods when Allie Clement took a long rebound for a layup at the quarter buzzer.
