Kapolei man attacked at home in vengeance over alleged assault on cat, police say

Police arrested a 52-year-old man after he allegedly assaulted a 20-year old man in Kapolei.

At about 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, police said the suspect entered the victim’s home and accused him of hitting his sister’s cat. The suspect then struck the victim’s face.

Police said the suspect and the victim do not know each other.

Police arrested the suspect later that night and arrested him on suspicion of first-degree burglary.
