A motorcyclist who died in a crash in Kunia has been identified as Stuart D. Jackson.

Jackson, 28, of Wahiawa, died of blunt force injuries to his torso Thursday after he was involved in a two-vehicle collision on Kunia Road.

The manner of death has been classified as an accident, according to the Honolulu Medical Examiner’s Office.

Jackson was operating a Kawasaki motorcycle on Kunia Road Thursday when the motorcycle and a Chevrolet pickup truck operated by a 37-year-old man collided.

Jackson was thrown from his motorcycle upon impact. Emergency Medical Services transported him in critical condition to Queen’s Medical Center-West Oahu where he later died.

Police said Jackson was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
