3 University of Hawaii athletic teams honored for academic performance
Three University of Hawaii athletic teams have been honored by the NCAA with public recognition awards for academic performance.
The women’s golf, tennis and soccer teams ranked in the top 10 percent of their sports in the most recent Academic Progress Rate report, the NCAA said today.
The APR measures eligibility, graduation and retention.
The most recent APR rates include the 2016-‘17 academic year, the NCAA said.
Brown University led all Division I schools with 20 of its teams earning public recognition awards.
