Portion of Kuhio Highway on Kauai closed for sewer repairs
Kauai County officials say the southbound lane of Kuhio Highway between Nuku Street and Kapaia Road will be closed until further notice, effective immediately.
The closure is necessary to allow the Wastewater Management Division to continue an emergency sewer main repair in the area.
Two-way traffic will be maintained, but the speed limit through the construction zone is 15 miles per hour. Motorists should drive with caution, expect delays, and adjust their travel times as needed.
