President Donald Trump planned to make a brief stopover in Hawaii after leaving Singapore following nuclear negotiations with North Korea’s Kim Jong Un.

Trump and his entourage were expected to arrive at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam late this afternoon for a 1-1/2-hour stopover before continuing on to Joint Base Andrews.

The White House released Trump’s flight schedule on the heels of the announcement that he was leaving Singapore early due to nuclear negotiations moving “more quickly than expected,” as Trump said. — Star-Advertiser staff
