Police evacuated a section of Maunawai Place near Kapiolani Boulevard Wednesday evening after receiving a report of a suspicious object in the area.
Personnel from the Honolulu Police Department’s Specialized Services bomb unit investigated what was reported to be possible military ordnance.
Police said the scene was cleared at approximately 7:15 p.m.
